  • Yes! If you are not an USBC member, you may obtain a membership at bowl.com prior to the tournament.

  • Eligibility includes any of the following…

    1. Any person of Japanese Ancestry.

    2. Any person married to (#1) above.

    3. All members of the SoCal Nikkei Bowling Association past or present with verification AND currently bowling a Nikkei Qualified League. **

    4. Any person CURRENTLY bowling a Nikkei qualified WINTER league as a regular AND who has participated in at least 2 consecutive full Winter seasons as a regular bowler consisting of at least 2/3 of the league games. **

    ** Must provide proof of membership prior to the start of bowling

    ** A Nikkei qualifying league is either an NBA (Nikkei Bowling Association), Northern California Federation Nikkei qualifying league or a league consisting of at least 50% of (#1) only above and minimum of 8 teams. Proof is required.

  • Yes, BUT a bowler, who only has a USBC JR. book average needs to be CURRENTLY bowling an adult league and may bowl if they meet all eligibility requirements and qualify under “What is my entering average” #3 in the adult league. Entering average will be the higher of “What is my entering average” #3 or highest 2020-2021 USBC JR. book average (as of April 15, 2023).

  • Must be highest of (#1) or (#2) of the following…

    1. Highest 2022-2023 Winter book average: Regular and Sports included (May 31, 2022 book average).

    2. Highest 2021-2022 Winter book average: Regular and Sports included (April 15, 2021 book average).

    3. Highest current WINTER league average of 21 games or more as of May 31, 2024 (A league sheet showing 21 games or more must be submitted for verification from Final League Night league sheet May 30th).

    4. If none of the above, the bowler must bowl scratch at a 220 average (No Summer league averages will be used).

    5. NO composite averages allowed

  • Yes, but you must report the substitute to the tournament committee 30 minutes before they are scheduled to bowl.

  • 80% of 220 for men and women.

  • No. However, please be mindful that there will be other bowlers and space is limited.
